Overview

The Blue Force Three is a spacious, purpose-built dive liveaboard for travellers from India who want a properly diving-focused week without sacrificing on-board comfort. Part of the well-regarded Blue Force fleet, the 12-cabin ship is laid out for divers — a generous dive deck with individual stations, a dedicated dive dhoni tender, free nitrox for certified divers, a camera station, and an experienced multilingual dive team. Cabins are air-conditioned ensuites with sea-view windows, and the sundeck and saloon make surface intervals easy. The standard seven-night route works the Central Atolls — North and South Malé, Ari and Vaavu — covering Maaya Thila, Fish Head (Mushimasmingili Thila), Manta Point at Lankan, Banana Reef, HP Reef, Fotteyo and Miyaru Kandus and the Alimatha nurse-shark night dive. On selected departures the boat runs deeper south to remote Huvadhoo for advanced divers chasing big pelagics. Expect grey reef, whitetip and nurse sharks, mantas, turtles, napoleon wrasse and, in season, whale sharks. Indian dietary requests (vegetarian, Jain, no-pork) are accommodated with advance notice. Departing the Velana International Airport jetty in Malé with transfer included, the Blue Force Three is a reliable, value-strong choice for serious divers and dive clubs.
