Return to Hulhumalé in the afternoon to relax on its long public beach, swim in the calm lagoon, or stroll the seafront promenade lined with cafés before an overnight stay on the island.
Today, leave behind the bustle of Hulhumalé for a full-day excursion across the tranquil lagoons of the Huvadhoo Atoll. Board a comfortable boat and cruise out over water that shifts from turquoise to deep ocean blue, with the chance to spot dolphins along the way.
Stop at a traditional local island to wander its quiet sandy lanes, meet friendly islanders, and learn about everyday Maldivian life and coconut-rope and lacquer crafts. Snorkel a vibrant coral reef teeming with fish before mooring beside a pristine sandbank.
